Caring for America: 2007 Christmas Card Project

Two boxes of Christmas cards were sent out November 1st with an approximate total of 360. The 2 boxes would not hold the 400 cards that we wanted to send, therefore a 3rd box will be sent out soon.

The boxes of Christmas cards were sent to Chaplain Nathan G. Drake to be distributed overseas to the individual service men or women serving our country. Avis Henderson, our Caring for America chairman, is looking forward to an e-mail from Chaplain Drake that the cards have arrived.

Many Thanks goes out to Avis Henderson and her committee members Barbara Andreasen, Barbara McGahan and Betty Mills for their diligence in caring out this project. Thanks also goes to all of the members at the luncheon tables who signed the Christmas cards and wrote such cheering notes.
