HDRWF enthusiastically supports our president in "No Child Left Behind." The following are HDRWF involvements in support of education in our community:

• Laura Bush Book Project-Members donate "gently used" or new books to be donated to schools in the local communities.



• MELP-Mamie Eisenhower Book Project-Each year selected books are donated to a school library.



• A U.S. flag flown over the Capitol is presented to one school each year.



• Teacher of Excellence Award-presented to an outstanding teacher in the community.



• Charlotte Mousel Scholarship-Three high school students are awarded each year.



• Perpetual Memorial Scholarship Fund-Money is donated in memory at the death of a member.

Please bring in books to the next meeting and put them on the No Child Left Behind table. (pre-school through eight grade)
