Who We Are Programs Elections Legislation Member Center

The High Desert Republican Women, Federated invites students to participate in the annual Charlotte Mousel Scholarship program. Each year we reward students who show their ability to think constructively on matters affecting our government in a written essay and through school, community, and political activities. Our local organization works diligently throughout the year to generate scholarship money for the purpose of enriching the lives of outstanding young Republicans. This prestigious scholarship is named in honor of Charlotte Mousel, who served as President at all levels of the Federations, from unit club president of Orange in Orange County to a successful two year term as President of the National Federation of Republican Women. The award is based on scholastic achievement, school activities, general appearance of the application and the constructive thought demonstrated in an essay. The essay topic is:

"Why is the U.S. Constitution unique in human history,
and why should each U.S. citizen value its contents?"
